I am quite happy to support the local. Have been for the last 60 years!. The family running my nearest are lovely bunch of people, and do a lot for our community as well. they deserve our support.

Sadly in my case, it could be some time before I venture back in, as the prospect of taking the Chinese Virus back to SWMBO, who is greatly "at risk" with a compromised immune system, is too great, especially with the unruly progeny of some clientele. Super-spreaders running riot, is not my "pint of Ale".

Absolutely, but my local real ale bar has took the decision not to open in the current climate.

But, they are doing takeaways on Fridays and Saturdays, so it would be rude not too....

I downloaded the neverspoons app a few days ago but I was vaguely disappointed. It shows the independent pubs but there is no detail about them. Even a photograph of the pub would have been nice.

But all power to their (drinking) elbow. I'm sure they plan improvements.
