My late father-in-law had a "thing" about certain makes of vehicle, particularly Volvo. He always said he would never be seen dead in one.
Come the day of his funeral, the cars arrive outside his house . . . and guess the make of the hearse? Shame it wasn't that pink one

I thought that the question was about campers as people - of which, the strangest one that I have ever seen was a big blobby grey one sitting in the driver's seat of our motorhome, looking back at me in the rear view mirror!
