Still confused returning to the UK from Spain

At our ages we can easily get confused! Reading the Gov UK web site about travelling back to the UK from Spain. we are still confused what the UK government needs us to provide tests etc on our return, we are both fully jabbed and have proof. ,

Afaik you just need day 2 lft now.
Are you going direct from spain or through France?

It's back to as it was last year, you just need to organize a Lateral flow test to be done by the 2nd day back home. we used Simply Test, only 12 quid each.

Yes as David said wait. You can get on the boat without any tests and do whatever the ‘can’t make their mind up government’ say on the day you land

Don't you need the test reference number to get on the boat/tunnel?

But yes definitely not a time for planning too far in advance.

Yes you do, you have to fill in the online form then they give you a QR code which you need to show.
