Like Larrynwin we never had a problem walking up a few years ago, different story now. I do remember having lunch in a small restaurant halfway up on the r/h side, we sat in the inglenook fireplace, good job it wasn't lit. I pushed my daughter up in her wheelchair, went to the castle and cathedral after recovering. on the way back found out there is a free disabled minibus, going up is just physical coming down is downright scary with a wheelchair, and it is cobbled, she laughed, I had a near underwear alert. must have burnt 2 gigawatts of calories and taken several years off my life coming down
