Beginning with your next billing cycle on or after June 18, the monthly price for your Roam plan will increase to $100/month. You will continue to enjoy fast, reliable internet for road trips, remote work, streaming, gaming, and more.

I’m on pause at the mo and that’s going up to $9/month. But why in $? Will my bill now fluctuate with world events?

$100 USD is £75.00 for roam but UK price is £96.00 not £75.00, wish it was.

New subscribers are being quoted £100/mth for Unlimited roam.

Price hikes and T&C changes seem quite regular but, as a monthly rolling service, I don't suppose Starlink has to adhere to any of the Ofcom rules.

Oh dear, never mind.
At least my Lebara/IDmobile SIMs are still cheap!

Im using roam unlimited overseas…..it’s brilliant.
However, a bereavement has cut our trip very short so we are heading back towards the ferry.
I’ve cancelled rather than “standby” my roam unlimited as we really won’t use it in the UK……..
less than 12hrs later got an email offering 6 months roam unlimited for half price!
Still won’t need it tho……

Interestingly, standby has now gone up to £9 a month and roam unlimited has come down to £80 a month!
What it will all cost in the future is anyone’s guess!

I believe Starlink is adjusting prices ahead of Amazon Leo launching. In the US the price is coming down (IIRC) so that he can grab some more subscribers before Leo launches. So to balance the books the cost in areas where Leo is not launching he will put prices up.

Do we know if Leo is coming to the UK?

It is expensive but when travelling for a few months any alternative for us s a hassle and less reliable. We used 482gb last month. It just works. Unlimited 5gdata SIMs can also be costly.

Ah I may have jumped the gun. The price has changed to £80 on the subscription page of the app, but when I look at the upcoming invoice it says £80 &£16 vat. So still £96 for now

my capped 100gb roam price is £50 per month - checked and the preview invoice for June is the same - the email I got did tell me it was after 18/06 when it will increase to £55.

Amazon Leo is scheduled for a mid 2026 UK launch and has already got OfCom approval

(I believe that some businesses have been trialling it since the beginning of the year???)
