Hi can any one help I’ve tried to down load this form get as far as enter email address comes up email address not reconis travelIing January 24 portsmouth Santander

Hi ,i tried to start mine yesterday and had the code sent to my email but it keeps coming up please try again 48 hours before departure( i guess that is for getting a covid test prior to the sailing, if needed)
The website does say you can start and safe it ,but only send it 48 hours before departure. However i have not been able to, i will try again and failing that will do it at the port next week.Someone posted a few days ago saying they had to go into the port office to sort it.
My sailing is 22:00 ,so i will be there first thing in the morning just incase. Good luck.

Ps, only a thought, possibly you are to far away from you departure date to access it,

put the full email in,

You have to do it48hrs before travel………………so annoying

The form has to be completed within 48 hours of your arrival in Spain. No test is needed. We did ours at the port with the help of a Brittany Ferries staff member.

The form can only be completed 48 hrs PRIOR to ARRIVAL in the destination country not the departure time from the UK.

Frustrating, ain't it.
Just give yourself enough time to get to the port of choice.
Don't beat yourself up over this.
Take your passport and smartphones (or printed confirmation of jabs) to those very nice BF staff and be nice (like give them 'a drink') They don't have to do it but they will (y)

Can I clarify just one point please...
Already in France since Nov 1st... crossing land border to Spain on 4th Dec. Do I need to fill this form in?

There seems to be no checks into Spain by road, although could perhaps be checked by Spanish police at any time. Therefore may be prudent to get them.

48Hrs by the Actual hour of Arrival or by the Date/Day ?

I’m sure that it would be unreasonable for anyone in authority to consider it to be anything but the scheduled time of arrival.

not entering spain till 8 Jan........I have already completed the SPTH MaritIMO form
 :sun:

Ahhhh just looked and this appears to still be only required if entering Spain by ship or aircraft....so not required if entering overland by car / MH etc! Yes?

I'm (maybe) sailing to Spain later this month.

As far as I can see the process looks something like this:

1. Have proof of full vaccination ahead of sailing

2. Fill in SPTH form online

Enter Spain and enjoy holiday

For return journey:

3. Fill in Passenger Locator form 2 days before arrival date.

Dock in England and drive home to Scotland

4. Book day 2 PCR test and send it away. Quarantine until negative result is received.

Anything I have missed?

You have to book testing kit PRIOR to filling in the PLF form.
You need a number from the company that you get after ordering testing kit💉💉

When are going??
Me? I'm booked for the 28th. Undecided if I am definitely going ahead with it. Keeping an eye on developments and make a decision in the next week or so. News from South Africa isn't too settling regarding this new variant.

Would you need this if you entered Spain via France?

Successfully completed the Spanish Health Locator Form on line this morning, prior to getting on the Galicia at 10pm tonight.
Not the best designed form and completion not made easier by repeated error reports "unable to contact server".
Q Code on phone, will travel.

Overland travel and transit

Spain’s land borders are open, however travel restrictions, border controls and testing requirements may be in place depending on the country you are travelling from and whether you have visited a ‘risk country’ in the previous 14 days. Overland travellers from France (excluding children under the age of 12 years old) who wish to enter Spain by road or rail, may be required to present one of the following documents on entry:

  • a certificate or document certifying you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • documentation certifying that you have undertaken a diagnostic test (e.g. PCR, LAMP, TMA or antigen test) and tested negative 48 hours prior to crossing the border into Spain
  • a medical certificate certifying that you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months prior to travel
The following groups are exempt from this requirement:

  • Haulage workers
  • Frontier workers
  • Residents of border regions within a radius of 30 km
