Got a 2020 Dethleffs and can get the standard telescopic table which came with the van to move forward and backwards plus side to side. However I’m not able to rotate it making it easier to access cupboards behind passenger seat.
Am I missing something obvious?

Cheers

Ours goes back n forth, and side to side, up and down but not round and round. That's on a pedestal in a EuraMobil. Expect yours is the same mechanism.

We couldn't get out table to rotate in our 2016 Burstner. Fellow Funster showed us how. Turns out [pun intended] that our table had been used very rarely over the 5 years so the mechanism and the accumulated dust particles, and our 'glass spanners' hands were not exerting enough effort to free the table swivel mechanism. It is unnerving to push so hard, expecting the horrible tearing sound of the mounting column ripping from the floor!

We also had the telescopic column seize in the down position; 6 hours later ... [incl. finding the screw that fell from the underside of the table]. Same causes of lack of use and accumulated dust on what remained of the lubricant

We have a 2020 Dethleffs Globetrotter and our table does not rotate, rise or lower. It just moves side to side, forwards and backwards.

See attached pic, is that same as yours?

Be interested if you find out how / if yours does rotate.

It depends which type of table support you have, in our Globecar Familyscout the table could be moved fore/aft and side to side but now swivel, our Carthago one however moves in all directions and swivels too.

Thanks for that. Mine has a clamp that lock s the elevation but the two movements I can make, left right, for and aft are just tight movement. Can you send a pic of your table and explain what the rotation clamp looks polite

This is the only photo I have. The circular base is in essence a 'double' layer and so rotates. Just grab the 2 narrow sides of the table top and rotate. If it is a rotatable tabel, the visible part of the top of the base plate will have 4 bulges that look like bolt head covers. Ithink there may be a video of the table on the site somewhere. My rights of access to the site have been curtailed and I can't be bothered posted new stuff that gets moved to areas that I cannot see. It's pretty futile.

Thanks Steve. Double checked my table and no bulges. Just screwed to the floor with 6 bolts.
Double checked my tables clamping and it has the one to Cosmo the height and one to clamp side to suis and back and forth.
I did a little research the other wh and found an i 8" bearing which looked like it wild fit between floor and table base but not took the idea any further.

You been at the booze already? :giggle: Autocorrect is a pain at times isn't it but I'd love to know how it's come up with Cosmo and suis, never mind wild ... is it based on your search history and if so what the heck were you looking for!
