We are hoping to travel down to Portugal via France and Spain

In terms of vehicle requirements, what should I take. Stuff like spare bulbs, warning triangles, reflective vests and so on. Anything extra?

Cheers

Yes, thatโ€™s about it, plus vehicle documentation.

Great time of year for this journey (y)

Make sure your vests are reachable from the driving seats and not deep in a cupboard. Enjoy your trip ๐Ÿ‘

We will arrive in about 4/5 weeks , doing Germany /Italy first, then house hunting in Spain till mid December, somewhere not too far from the coast , between roughly Murcia and Malaga , do you have a list of favourites?

Greatly depends what you like, what you do, for example....we prefer quiet...so Benidorm and the Costa del Sol are out....we ride mountain bikes, climb hills and rocks....we are both old....me very old...so.....what do you like...where have you been before....where do you want to buy a house?
We live in Murcia in an apartment in a Golf complex....we like it but you may not....give me your ideas and I can give you mine... somewhere in the middle we might meet..,๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฆ

We previously lived in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham, we would prefer to live somewhere within 15 minutes of a town or city with enough cultural interests, and restaurant choices, as we are really young early retired people ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜Ž, we would like to buy something with some holiday rental self catering accommodation to top up income. Not to far from the coast, views and authentic Spain are important, we are definitely not fans of the Benidorm vibe, we like hiking , swimming and a bit of easy trail mountain biking , we donโ€™t like huge high rises. So it will be an interesting search ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž we have seen that temperatures going 10/15 miles inland can be dramatically higher then on the coast so that something to consider, I love 30/35 degrees, any hotter becomes being in the pool all day weather๐Ÿ˜†
