Booked and form filled in. Arrive pm Friday looking forward to it and Slade Saturday night, one of the first bands I saw and a skinhead band back in the day.

Booked and form has been completed. Hoping to travel after work on the Thursday. Fingers crossed it will still be going ahead.
First time out with the Funsters
 
Well so now the shows are off I 'm not upset:(:frowny::crying:😪:groan:Lets hope the South West one is still on.

How much notice do Warners usually give when cancelling their shows?
 
I rang Warners yesterday and the very helpful lady thinks the show will be on but with a different format.
It depends how the Malvern show goes.
Toilets and showers will be closed and no entertainment. She said those who've booked will be offered a refund or if you still want to go original booking would be cancelled and then re book at a reduced price.
Fingers crossed it still goes ahead.

Just received this email from Warners regarding the show.

Hello,


The absolutely fantastic news, is that we will be at Shepton Mallet Showground, in the beautiful Somerset countryside on the weekend of 11th – 13th September 2020.

However, I do have to let you, our loyal campers know of some changes, to enable Warner’s to hold the event.

We will not be able to host the indoor entertainment venue, however, we are looking at opening the clubhouse on site and we will have some light entertainment for viewing, on the decking area.

The camping fields will be general camping and you will be parked as you arrive. We will not offer disabled or club pitches.

There will be elsan emptying points and water taps for you to use across site, although there will be no toilets or showers open in the camping fields. Daytime, toilets will be available in the trade sales area.

The trade sales area is free for you to visit across the weekend with a variety of product on offer to tempt you.

We would love you to still come along, kick back and enjoy this beautiful part of the country.



Options for your current booking:



Option 1

You can do nothing and we will send you out a ‘wild’ camping pass for entry onto site. Arrival is Friday 11th September from 8am and you can stay until Monday 14th September, 12 noon latest departure.

Plus, you will receive a £10 credit that you can use on next year’s event.
10th – 12th September 2021.

And if you have entertainment and trips booked these will be transferred to next year.



Option 2

If you really can’t come, you can request a refund on the booking by emailing exhibit@warnersgroup.co.uk let us have your name and postcode and a contact phone number so we can track and refund your account.
Please head up the email with Shepton refund.

I do hope to see many of you there.

Yes, we got the same email.
Sadly we’ve decided to take the refund, partly because of the changes to the entertainment and partly because of the general parking rather than with the “Funsters”.
Maybe next year.........
 
We've took a refund and then rebooked.
Can only arrive Friday morning now.
 
Was hoping to be by the Funsters but doesn't look possible now. Don't see why clubs can't be pitched together though 🙄
 
I will be there, and it will be the first outing this year. We should have been on the Highlands End meet in Dorset in July, but had to cancel because the MH developed a fault a couple of days beforehand so it was in the garage being fixed. £350 later and this has been the first opportunity to get away!

Yes. It's been a strange year. Missed seeing lots of Funsters including you Dux.
