Trying to find suitable replacement tap/shower unit for my 2008 Bessacarr E460 - have been in touch with SWIFT- they no longer stock original unit which they say was “1055653 Tap-Vanity Shower Chrome- 350mm tail” - It’s the type where the shower head acts as tap and pulls out to be used as shower - pic attached

Has anyone out there had to replace similar bathroom tap/shower unit? Can anyone point me in the direction of where I might be able to source a suitable good quality replacement?

Seen several similar looking tap/shower units on eBay and some better looking quality ones at Jackson Leisure but I’m no plumber so not sure what I should be looking for!

Do I need it to be microswitched? Does having a water pump mean I have a pressurised system? As you can tell I’m pretty clueless 😂

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like the same tap as on my van.. I believe its a Reich , from leisure shop direct

If your water pump is a submersible, ie, in the tank, the tap uses microswitches,

If the pump is a Shurflo, usually mounted near or above the tank, its a pressure system and no micro switches used..

Thanks that’s very helpful - that would explain the two brown wires dangling loose below the tap! I have a shurflo pump so I guess that means I have pressurised system and didnt need the microswitches. Does this also mean I could buy a replacement tap without micro switches which tend to be cheaper?
