a class frankia
Just purchased my old, new mo/ho. Old v5 said much more than new v5 just received. My main issue is old v5 said euro5+ new one says diddley squat, well actually has nothing on the box it's empty. So are vehicles not stating on the v5 what they are anymore, are we so upset with europe that any mention of euro had been whitewashed out. And what if in europe and have to show the v5, how do you prove the engine rating.
Any answers out there to these conundrums?

my 2017 fiat is the same nothing in the box but i do have a little badge on the drivers front wing that is supposed to signify that its euro 6 but it dont say that

Mines a a class don't seem to put those bits on this type, that I have seen.

This ll such nonsense from the legislators for emission Zones.

The same engine making the same emissions can be compliant if the oner has downplate for his lcence category but non-compliant if over 35ookg as it was designed for.

It is simply for their convenience of assessing the information from DVLA but does not affect the amount of emissions from the same vehicle.

Not a big cost under some schemes, but if I want to do one return trip to my house in SW London it costs me £200 for LEZ plus ULEZ.

My vehicle was compliant before they changed the rules. Do they expect MH owners to change vehicles every time they change the rules?

I think it needs a Constitutional Law challenge.

My old Hymer 655 Starline was the same-2.7 mercedes when plated at 3500kg it was fine within the old low emissions zone-but since mine was replated to 4000kg it wasn’. Same vehicl, same engine, same emissions-different rules……

My euro5+ August 2016 regd 4500kg passes ULEZ and all other uk zones as compliant so I think it may be more down to date of registration.

Yep that's what they normally go by, never had the emissions or Euro number on any Motorhome V5 we have had.

You could not register a euro 5 after September 2016, my work van was excess stock euro 5 purchased December 2016 as pre-reg half price, recond I would trash it before it was a problem.

So euro 5plus @ 3.5t is fine but euro 5plus over isn’t?
I thought vehicles registered after 1/08/2016 had to be euro 6.

I’m just about to collect euro 5plus and was about to uprate from 3.5 to 3.8t but won’t bother.

Quick question.
How many Motorhomes have been done for being over weight or how many do you know of?
I’ve been motorhoming for 18yrs now and honestly, I don’t know of any.

Please don’t quote me the rights & wrongs, I totally understand these, just answer the question.
