It’s not too bad. I use it when mr trucky is serviced at SMC.
Quite a large site and reasonable walk along Trent river.
Small facilites have recently been upgraded.
Smelly Smeatons when neighbouring sugar factory in use in Autumn
Secure, some road noise from several nearby major roads
For me good for a night or two max.

Stayed there many times always found them lovely people, and had some great fishing there. Facilities not the most modern but i have got good ones in van.

We've stayed several times, breaking a journey. No problem with the staff, always been friendly and helpful. Good area for walking the dog as well. Facilities aren't the newest but they've always been clean and stocked. Would have no hesitation staying there again.
