I’m looking at buying a tow car which is probably going to be a Smart Fortwo because I want an auto and a cabriolet and the smart is the only one that can be towed on an A frame with the two requirement’s I want. I know it’s got to be a 451 model as it’s the only one that can be flat towed.
My question is does anyone know if all of the 451’s can be towed they started in 2008 and finished in 2014 but are they all the same?

I was advised that my Smart four four could not be towed due it being an automatic. It is a 2015 but I would seek advice. I have found that LNB Towbars very helpful in the past worth a call
