Hi. I've just swapped motorhomes to an Autocruise Augusta. Only bought it in Nov 18 from a dealer and when advertised it had a max view dome on the roof. When we picked it up the dome,receiver and cabling had been removed. We asked why and we're told it wasn't working. They left the mounting kit on the roof. I said you should replace it as it was sold with a system in place and have been promised it will be done but in the meantime they have loaned us a portable maxview system.
Now the problem. The receiver must be getting on a bit as the only output is scart which our lg tv doesn't have as its brand new. Having never used a satellite system I want to get a new receiver but are there specific types for maxview dishes or will any freesat box work. I don't know what dome will be put on (if ever) so don't want to be buying another receiver in a few months time. Any experience and advice much welcomed. Thanks
