Hi, Trying to ascertain the service schedule for our Peugeot Boxer 2198cc HDi. There are no schedules in either the handbook or the warranty and maintenance record book. We had the oil and filter changed in October 23, and have done 300 miles since then. Total mileage is now 19,670 on an 8 year old vehicle. Last service was at 11.588 on 1/11 21. On line, there is a considerable amount of conflicting information..................?

My Fiat books specifies every 28,000 miles or annually. Fully synthetic 0-30 grade oil.
I have always change mine every two years and after about 16,000 miles. Fully synthetic 5-30 grade oil.
Works for me and no sleepless nights:drinks:

I asked my local dealer, and they said 2 years. Although I would use some common sense, depending on mileage. OIl and filter every year cant hurt
This was for a 2014 van

I downloaded the “My Peugeot” app when we had a Boxer based MH. Registering with that gave me the service schedule. Didn’t consider the advice to change the cambelt at 10 years though and had it done at 6.

first thing is has the cam belt been changed? If not it needs doing 3 years ago if not 4.

Thanks for all the replies/info'. Cam belt is actually a chain on the Boxer therefore, don't touch it unless it becomes noisy........is the advice given by a main dealer!!!

The 2.2 BlueHDi (which I think is the engine you have) has a timing belt. There is also a chain between the two camshafts.

Modern synthetic oils are unlikely to need changing every year. Fiats have 2 year service intervals, no idea about Peugeot.

you therefore have the Ford 2,2 TdCi chain driven engine. On my Transit I change the oil & filter at least once a year. Mine has nearly 300,000kms on the engine now.

Gus, unsure about your comment "you therefore have a Ford 2.2TdCi chain driven engine." All I can tell you is that all the badging, documentation and V5c state we have a Peugeot!
