By chance came across this app.
In simple terms you find your destination in Google maps and click the share button in maps and select "send to navigation" app. It (send to navigation) pops up, within the app settings you can add any of the nav apps you have on the device to the selection window. You select the nav app you want to use and it opens at the sent destination. You can the use the nav apps navigation to do the usual routing.
So in principle it works like the send to sygic browser add-on but better as it shares within Google Maps not just browser. Covers loads of app based navigation, the web site is out of date as it works with CoPilot and iGo as well as Sygic and many others as you will see when you download the app. It appears to only work on Android so sorry to iffyphone users, don't shoot the messenger!

have you tried what 3 words - I think it does the same; you find your location and then it links to a navigation program of your choice - unless I am a Fwhit and got it all wrong again!

Maybe I’m missing something here Michael but if you’ve found your destination in Google maps why not use it as your navigation system?

Excellent seems to work with our tablet and Copilot, also gives easy access to the actual coordinates, rather than the irritating GooglePlus codes, if you want to send them to others.

How do you use either of those in the van?

Why not just stick to Google maps, if you use it to its full potential, it does everything you need.

Have Waze running in the background and switch off the voice commands except for warnings. It can give notice of breakdowns or Police events which can be a useful 'live' add on.
