The NHS Inform Scotland website states "At this time, only your first and second dose will show on your vaccination status, even if you've had a third or booster dose".

This translates into English as "Our app is crap because we went for the cheapest option, and it can't be updated."

The Wales COVID Pass QR Code will only be updated from 29th November, so we have probably bought the same one in a car boot sale!

I will add mine into my TousAntiCovid App … now t needed my Scottish one yet and, I suspect, am unlikely to.

I’m glad to see that you occasionally frequent our beautiful country and it’s not another Jock bashing thread, but you are having a go at our Glorious Leader. 😲😂😂😂
Glorious:unsure: :LOL::LOL::LOL: I note you used smileys (y)

As usual the SNPeee have to be different same as the Welsh lot
What was wrong with them using same NHS covid app throughout the U.K.but then that would be to easy .
Incapable of joined up writing more like

I mean, let’s not forget that he was Minister for Transport and he couldn’t even drive. 🙀

Scottish Government not the SNP. Scotland has a coalition between SNP and the Greens, and Scotland does have the highest level of vaccinations amongst the UK countries

Still the SNP led government along with there wee green friends
and they may have the highest level of vaccinations but then they should after all our population is diminutive compared to other parts
There are more people live in the whole of Yorkshire than up here
And I stand by my original comment
there is absolutely no reason why we had to have a different NHS Covid pass App to the rest of the country
It would have made things a lot easier

I'll agree to differ; there is a political element to both your original post and this reply, as your spelling on SNP shows. The Scottish Government and the Scottish NHS are devolved/separate bodies and are entitled/expected to make their own decisions, and the First Minister has said on many occasions that Scotland will take the same route as the other UK Governments if that is the best option for Scotland

A couple of months back, 8 of us were out for a meal in a restaurant about 20 yards from the Scotland/England border. The company was split 50/50 between Scots/English. Later that evening, those of us with the English app got pinged, the ones with the Scottish app didnt. A joined up app would surely have made more sense ?

Joined up app ? If only………
Because our doctor is in England and we live in Scotland (only 4 miles away) it has taken from May until last Thursday to have my wife’s 2nd jab uploaded to the Scottish NHS app.
My jab records uploaded no problem.
It has taken dozens upon dozens of phone calls, emails etc. Help from our MP ( they too came up against a brick wall ). The medical centre practice manager tried her damndest to help.
When we asked if the two NHS’s didn’t communicate with each other we were told numerous times “ Oh no, we don’t speak to them “
The apathy was staggering !! We were even told to change surgeries. ( we didn’t).
Last Tuesday we tried the help line again and we actually spoke to someone who sounded interested. Took a note of the batch numbers
and the medical practice postcode. He elevated the enquiry to a critical level. Another waste of time,
we thought.
Thursday evening 6.30 Anne looked on her phone and there it all was. Wonderful…..one very delighted wife 👍 Relax with a celebratory drink.
Just a lot of unnecessary hassle.
A joined up app would be great but it requires joined up thinking……if only.
However, two hours later that evening we booked Portsmouth/ Santander for this coming Thursday.
All’s well that ends well. Thank goodness !!

In terms of Covid strategy, I'd have thought the most effective thing for any country to do is to examine carefully how the English government handles it, and then do the exact opposite.
