Scorpion Tracker - Excellent Customer Service

Discovered on Monday morning that the tracker was showing the van was still, apparently, located in the garage where it was last serviced.

I am still to get to the bottom of that, but after a call to Scorpion a delightful technician came out to Gargrave on Wednesday morning where we had an overnighter and installed a new unit. Old unit couldn't be found!!

Brilliant service.

We have a Scorpion tracker. Whenever I've phoned them it sounds like a couple of lads working from a shed in their back yard. :confused:

Better than the terrible service I got with them. It stopped working when I had the ABS sensor replaced and they said that MB truck and van must have disabled it. How????? All they wanted to do was sell a new unit. Cancelled contract and booked into Taunton for a decent tracker and they took less than 5 minutes to find - it behind the glovebox, I believe. Now got a system I can rely on.

To be fair, the quality of the system depends very much on the quality of the engineer fitting it, but I was appalled at the offhand way they dealt with me over the phone.

As with everything related to service it really depends on the person you speak to. I am visiting the original installer to see if he can find it, if not then a visit to the garage may be in order! We shall see.

Anyway all is working and we can enjoy our trip!
 
I'm very happy with scorpion. When the unit insisted I was still in Saumur they sent a team to replace box free of charge. Plus they are tolerant of me forgetting to tell them I'm going through the Eurotunnel.

Strike back Growler system with Metatrak tracker. Works really well with great customer support. Scorpion seemed to be a car alarm and took Ash less than 5 minutes to find. I still have it for posterity in the garage
