I have a Scart Sat decoder and a HDMI tv (it does have scart but its a pain) , is it possible to directly connect both??

We found that you could by a scart to 3 wire adaptor for our tv to satilite box and was bought on eBay for about a £5.00. It’s the 3 wire thingy that come with a yellow, white and red plug on one end and a scart on the other.
It works well but might not be HD but on our small tv the picture is good enough to watch Corrie.
