Getting there!
Can anyone explain what my amps should read on the lcd panel on the main fuse board (assume the reading relates to the leisure battery)

Also does the reading change when on EHU and why?

No get probably gets more views here plus most of us just look at What's New.

Put some photos up so we know what you are talking about.

It’s this panel, the display can be selected to show battery voltage on both batteries but also has one that shows amps that fluctuates, was just wondering what the amps display would normally be.

Don't know the unit but readings are you getting.

On my EC500 I can select Hab or vehicle battery and the reading is the amps going in or out for which one I have set it to. The fluctuation could be the solar panel if you have one.

I have the same unit fitted and it shows the amps going into the battery as required from the charger when on EHU or from the solar at other times. It also shows a small negative reading at other times which increases when lights etc are used.
I assume that it shows amps in and out of the battery including a small drain for standby items most of the time.

Have you calibrated the panel so that the readout shows a correct figure?

Yes otherwise it will give an incorrect reading. If you have solar fitted you need to calibrate it on a night and when the main panel is switched off on the main power switch. It should give instructions how to do it in your handbook. If you can’t find it let me know.

I have an ec450 and when stood idle it shows -0.8 amps I assume that’s due to alarm and tracker . I have a 100w solar panel only once in 4 years in a dark winter did I have a flat battery but I am a bit wiser now and always give it a 30 mile run every 3 weeks through the winter.
