After a roundtable discussion of our repeatedly leaking roof at the recent Shrewsbury meet, and some helpful suggestions on my earlier Heki thread, I'm looking for help with the repair.

Firstly taking off a large solar panel and roofing tape, then seeing if that uncovers any more structural weaknesses. Then fixing a strengthening plate across the roof, retaping the joins and refitting the panel.

I need some help with this and ideally I'd like to work under cover; we're 3.5m high.

We're in Cambridgeshire; Gazeleys in Newmarket could probably do it, but they look quite upmarket and I'd rather not hand the job completely to someone else.

Lincolnshire, and East Anglia are convenient but I could go further if necessary. Can anyone suggest someone who might be able to help, and has a suitable workspace?

Maybe a one-man band somewhere in the Lincolnshire/Peterborough/Northampton/East Anglia area?

Probably have to work outdoors.

Have a word with Paul Hughes at Premier Bodyworks (formally Truckcraft) Bury St Edmunds 01284 744448. They are approved repairers for all the major insurance companies, and very competitive for non insurance work. Paul is a nice guy and will give plenty of advice FOC
