Has anyone visited Rochester recently, I contacted the council to find out about parking p,they said that the long stay car park is being used for blue badge holders and residents and others are 5 hour maximum stay. There seems to be a possibility at Station road strike but is on road parking.
I don't know the area so any advice welcome.

There is a big free car park at Chatham historic dockyard, perhaps you could park there and get the bus to Rochester?

Thanks might look at that.

If its for the Christmas market you may find there is a park and ride from the Dockyard outlet centre. The car park is often full but there is more parking by the pub called The Ship and Trade.

There is son on road parking on the Edplanade by Rochester Bridge. From the Chatham side turn left just before the Bridge.
bit of a Camber on the road .

You could try the airport on Maidstone Road, It is not that busy only light aircraft. And good bus service to town centre.
