Is it worth dusting off my old Revolut card? Not used it in a few years and I seem to remember a few threads on here about it with some being a bit wary of it as it was Russian owned.

Is that true and has anything changed since the goings on in Eastern Europe?

Oh I didn't know that. Hope I can get to spend mums euros she has in her card

I believe the Myths about being Russian owned has been answered on previous postings on here....however when the conflict started I withdrew my Euro and Pound balance....only just now have I started to increase my Euro balance.... In fact I sent my UK balance to an Aid charity supporting Ukraine...

It’s not Russian owned I believe it’s Lithuanian.
They have updated their cards so you may need a replacement

I think old type cards run out in September, they will replace it free.
They replaced my card....it was a bit of a faff to get the delivery company to bring it for some strange reasons....I complained to Revolut.....they sorted it and compensated me for the hassle..nice....I sent this to a Aid Charity supporting Ukraine also....👍🇪🇦

I use ours a lot.

We have metal, £13 a month. Which I highly recommended for people who use it a lot.

Smart delay.

We have had two delayed flights this year. As a metal plan user, you get a free Airport lounge entrance per year.

But, if you are delayed more than an hour on any flight. You get a lounge pass for you and up-to three fellow passengers passes travelling with you.

Had six entrance passes this year. €228 in value.

Just got logged back in to my account. I see they are offering a virtual card. Anyone used that?

What's Zelensky going to do with a £10 voucher for marks and spencers?

Buy a new camouflaged T.Shirt....😃👍
Is this what you get with UK based cards...here in Euroland we get rewarded quite well for bad service from Revolut...perhaps because we haven't got an M&S...🥴🇪🇦👍😃

I appear to have one showing on my account...is it for a one off payment...or perhaps payment on line...?

I use the single use virtual online shopping card for, ah you guessed it ;) works well and secure as it's a one off transaction and then the number scrambles.

Revolut have two virtual card types:
- One type is mentioned above: the single transaction card
- And the main type that can be used multiple times in Apple Pay or Google Pay wallets.

An advantage of the 2nd type, is that you never have the physical card to lose or forget.
Although {physical card} that can also be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay wallets and left at home 🤷‍♂️ 👍🏻
Edit: clarity

I use that as well (y) and higher limit (or no limit) for contactless transaction than the card.

Haven't noticed any change, but Revolut have sent new cards out, whether you want one or not I think, so yours may not work?
