Resident views on upcoming changes at Saltburn

We holidayed in a ground floor flat on Marine Parade with my 90y old Dad a few years ago; we really enjoyed the sea views. There were a couple of MHs there and I thought "what a great place to stay a couple of nights".
This year we drove along the road and I was astounded at the number of MHs parked there. Some had a wheel on the pavement, to give a level standing, but others stood in the road and slightly restricted the flow of traffic. If I had been a Saltburn resident I would have been annoyed.

TBH, allowing overnight stays should not be a problem from a "views" perspective, because most residents will have their curtains closed. If the vehicles point in the direction of traffic flow, then reflectors and street lights should cover any problems. However, a limit on staying of 48 hours would seem sensible AND well within the ability of enforcement officers to act upon.

I hope a total ban is not enacted.

You have to remember that, this far north, it's still light until after 10pm in June/July.
Quite a few properties have balconies for the sea view.
