Rescheduled Spanish trip to busiest period.

Having to reschedule our return to Spain next month and thinking of going end of January. Never had an issue when we normally go getting aires or sites (P4N etc) and never book but at this time of year what are we expected to face. Heading straight to north of Benidorm 4 nights and slowly heading back along the coast to Montpellier over 3 weeks. Will probably ring on the day when travelling back to book sites especially Roses....

We do that journey annually in January, using Aires and stopovers as listed in S4S, Camper Contact, or P4N if desperate. We never have a problem taking 3-4 x days to enter Spain, then bimbling along until our pre booked pitch date in Benidorm.
Each year folks are reporting that the campsites are becoming rammed, and unless you have a booking, you might struggle to get in.

You are heading the wrong direction to most people so you maybe okay, certainly campsites below Benidorm will be full, I know as we booked our pitch last January just after we arrived.
