Just started!
Okay, I discovered there was a fluorescent lamp underneath a cabinet above the sink area of course it didn't work so I decided to disconnect the 12v supply wires and the strip unit in readiness for fitting a 12v LED strip.

When I cut the supply wires I momentarily shorted them and my control panel started flashing and beeping! No fuses have blown and there's still 12v on the supply cables, however, I don't know how to stop the controller flashing an beeping :) !

A short video so you can see what's happening.

Problem resolved!

As I can't see the legend of the other 'control panel buttons' I just pressed each in turn and the beeping stopped :)

Someone posted a link to the replacement fascia for your unit in one of your earlier posts. Maybe print out the picture for reference 😁

Oh and disconnect the battery if your messing about with the wires 👍 sparks are not a good sign.

And switch off power to wires before cutting them. ;)

Yes, I should have! :)
I have form on forgetting to do the obvious.
I once put a bucket under my blocked kitchen sink, removed the U-bend and drained the sink and the greasy foul sludge from the U-bend then emptied the bucket into the sink. Ever since then I've made a point of refitting the U-bend first.
