We have tried and tested this idea and is great for storage and enables a double skin floor for warmth

One inch celotex then thin ply leaving 160mm gap 18mm floor still leaves 1900mm headroom being an extra high top only downside is roof is narrower than the high top but a 420w panel still fits

50mm celotex in cieling and foam filling the hollow roof supports this then gives the 1900mm headroom

enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
those underfloor sections look ideal for installing a self built battery, you can arrange the cells to your own specification/dimension ...... ?? or are you sticking with your fogstar(s)?

i think ive got a fancy roof vent knocking about, but no inner frame if youre looking to fit one? im sure its a max air ...?

We thought of doing a raised floor in our old self build but the weight was our concern
Was that the weight of all that extra stuff you could then fit in. ?

How are you going to access the extra underfloor storage?

Side loading door to store outside table and next to that plastic boxes for various things like shoes and outdoor stuff
In the boot is access under floor 600mm wide x 1500mm for our pop up tent and long things as well as the garage space
Under the kitchen proposed drawers is water heater pump etc
Chinese heater in front off forward faceing seating
