Don’t own one yet.
Hi. I’m new to motohoming and am after a max 6m motorhome with a fixed or drop down bed (not over can). I’ve seen a 2018 model for sale - is there anyone that has this model who could give me some hints/tips/pros/cons? Thanks.

Was a Newbie but getting the hang of it now.
Got a 202 (2019)
It's 4 berth but only use as a 2.
Has what we want at the moment.
Lounge seats feel narrow is only niggle at present
There is a Facebook group - Benimar owners UK
This may be a better place to ask.

Hello WorryTooMuch, I have a 2015 Mileo 201 and think it is great.

If you need or want space to lounge around, then it may not be the van for you as the dinette does not have a large amount of room although it can seat 5 with the table pulled out and the driving seats spun round. For the size of the van it has a massive garage, and is very well fitted out as standard. For one or two people it is great if you are like me and do not want to be moving cushions about and stowing away bedding every day.

5 years
We had one for 3 years. It was a 2017

Pros
Massive Garage
Adjustable bed height
Full size Shower/Toilet
Decent Kitchen
Well kitted out
Stylish
Compact
Massive Payload

Cons
Climbing over each other when going to Loo
Slightly claustrophobic transverse bed
Build quality - The wardrobe door/Step combination kept coming off its hinges
Shower tray suspect (although it didn't leak it seemed to flex alarmingly)
Terrible performance of dealer in first year (Marquis)

There was nothing about it that would put us off having another though so if you really must have a 6m van it was the best we could find

PS Sunlight and Carado do exactly the same layout and are even more properly screwed together :giggle:
