At Lincoln show last year the better half saw some proper wine glasses that from what I could tell hung off a magnetised pad.
They were properly expansive for that they are, are people paying over £100 to have 2 glasses, slumming it with plastic (like us) or do you have other inventive methods.
I thought about bonding a rear earth magnet to the bottom of a glass and making my own.

50p glasses from B&M I don't break then but do give them away when some one say oo these are nice

Our Caravan had a proper cupboard as well as bespoke glasses, all still intact when we sold it at 12 years old, the Morelo ones were just cheapo so we replaced them with a cut glass set ;)

How are they clamped in? Just nestled into a foam cutout?
The Champagne flutes are just in metal tool clips, the ones below are just nestled into a false floor to the cupboard, in the Morelo they are just sitting through holes in a shelf and the bases are on some non slip matting.

Real glasses are so cheap that we just take a couple of wine glasses with us plus a couple of tumblers. If one breaks Nick has a spare and then we just replace before next journey. I don’t drink and he’s not fussy about his glassware but he wouldn’t want to drink from plastic regularly. He’s not a heathen.

We have a set of Luminarc wine glasses, Equip Home 35cl. Less than a squid each. Used in wobble box for a fair few years, now in MH. Placed in foam holder in cupboard.

Sensible size to reduce consumption rate  ;)

Can't see something like that being too hard to fashion to be fair, might have a go at it.
Thanks!

We have 2 silwy wine glasses that were a b’day prezzie also 2 magnetic coasters to sit them on… I have to say they are fab! The coasters stick to any surface and can be moved around without any damage to surfaces…. They are so secure! No chance of knocking them over!! ….I think they’re so good that I’ve just ordered a set of magnets and coasters from silwy to put on our other glasses... our burstner has a magnetic shelf glass cupboard so they are stored in there.

Cut glass from a charity shop with pool noodle cut to fit (lengthways and down the side) which stops breakages and rattles.

I’ve carried proper glasses for 30 years with no proper clips or position they are just in baskets with bubble wrap wine champagne and gin no breakages.
