Power Inlet socket

I inadvertently damaged the Power Inlet socket but it still provided power and will have to replace the fitting. I waited until it was time to leave the site as once removed I wouldn't be able to re-connect but I didn't note which colour wires went to which connections.
Can I assume it'll be the normal Brown to Live (+), Blue to (-) and the other to Earth?
