I am considering removing the large bulky table in my van, a Pilote 600l, as it will free up quite a lot of space and make it easier to walk around the lounge area.
I am looking for a fairly stable but not too large portable table but would prefer it to be fairly high as opposed to the lower style of picnic table. Does anyone have any experience of one called an Outdoor Revolution Premium or anything similar that would be practical.
Compromise is the name of the game however so should the reality of storage, etc prove troublesome I will stick with the original.
Many thanks for any advice offered.

We have used the Fiamma system on a tripod foot. Very easy to store and very stable. You could make it yourself and then get exact size of top that you want.
You buy the tripod base, the central pole and the boss to screw to table top separately. The central pole system better than having 4 legs to trip over.
Available here and lots of other suppliers

Another vote on the tripod.
I took the big heavy table out the Burstner and we now use this. Easier to get around and I can fold it all up and store out the way.

We use one of these for outside our van, but could easily be used inside.

Tucano we have same problem and same moho . We have two table tops that came with our new to us moho , small and large but no movement in the table top so it’s always in the way . Our old Burstener had a folding sliding table which was great but they are very expensive.

We had similar quote from Bavaria
Ilsa sell loads of different table leg options with sliding mechanism but dont have table tops. Plus you have to buy direct from website.

We use this type, from Argos......

Be aware that round tables offer very little actual usable area They look big but soon taken up with two plates and no room for anything else.
I advise making a cardboard mock-up to see just how your plates etc will fit or not.

I agree and my elbows fall off ! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Rectangular good as you can turn it to suit how you are sitting when eating, or the other way if you want to walk past.
One of the advantages of the central pole system is that you can turn the top.

Thanks for replies peoples, I will give the central pole idea a miss as I also would like to be able to use the table outside, the Outdoor Revolution Premium may possibly be the way to go, firstly I will have to remove the present fixed table.
Norman.
Edit, it costs approx £50 (y)

LesW I am considering this but wonder about leg room under it, a good price also (y)
From the floor to the underside of the table is 25 inches..

Why not take a look at a Lagun table setup, you can fit any size of table top you want to the mount, we love ours which we have brackets fitted fore and aft of van

I second the Lagun table... Bloody Fantastic it is (y)

You can even get spare bases so you can move it around your van and even if you want have a mount outside for it.

Just a thought, do you actually need a decent size table? I just take a TV table with me, ideal for one person to eat off and folds away nice and flat. Can also be used outside and I just take 1 table per person. Cheap as chips, under a tenner each.

Do they do a floor base for the Lagan i can only find wall mounts that wont fit in out moho?
Don’t think so, but the bracket can fit on any wall or kick plate, the slide out panel behind your legs on a bench seat, here is ours, the great thing about them is the fact that the brackets dont weigh anything and the whole table swivels around 360 and adjusts up and down.

We, like the previous owner, have removed the Burstner table and use a camping table instead. Much more space.

I took the table out of my Benimar Mileo 202 which was great but huge. I'm using one of these and it's fine and gives loads more room. It has about 4 or 5 different height options by the way.

We have two of the slated tables, one with the extending legs which is great for uneven surfaces and large enough to hold a whole meal, bread board and two place settings. The beauty of these is the legs fold and concertina and the slats remove and roll up to go into a bag. used inside and out. We also have asmaller square one which also folds into a small bag for outside/inside for food that’s plated up, again fits two comfortably and 4 at a https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=slatte...1723748&tag=googhydr-21&ref=pd_sl_ztbuk7q3d_e

when not in use both are small enough to be placed in front against the dash And being alluminium are weather proof if left outside

Looks great I’m considering putting one of these in just checked some videos out on the inter web! How do you plug the hole where the old table was fitted? Thanks 👍

Thanks for all the information peoples, I have decided to go with my original thinking and I have purchased an Outdoor Revolution basically because it appears to be the highest table around. I just need to get to the van now to see how difficult it will be to remove the present monstrosity, judging by comments on other threads it isn't going to be easy.
May end up selling the new table
