I understand that you can park your motorhome at the port the night before an early morning sailing. What time can you arrive the day before and what time does check-in open in the morning for an 8.30 sailing? TIA

I have never stayed the night before, always stayed at south lychett manor just up the road. But have stayed after getting off the return ferry. Park over by the sheds. The worse thing about when I used to do it was waking up and watching everyone getting on the ferry when I had to go home. đź‘Ť

Last time we went from Poole, we overnighted in the check-in lanes, along with many others.
We did get a tap on the door at 6:30am though to check whether we had a pet or not.

The Bakers Arms pub has motorhomes overnight. It’s a lovely and has good food too. Far better than the ferry port. The pub is very close, less than 4 miles.
We were told 45 mins prior to departure but we always get there earlier….sometimes we have been 1st on and off.
