camping and caravanning since a kid. New to motorhomes
See that the camping and caravan club are trialling on a number of sites 3 hour pit stops for members.

For £7.65 per unit can use all the facilities on site for 3 hours.

Seems a bit pricey but it is a start and handy for when on tour.

Officially no booking needed but advise to phone ahead anyway.

I wonder if they’ll allow you to charge your EV too……??? ;)

Interesting, where did you read that?

Why not just use the filter app on searchforsites. For example "The metal bridge inn offers full services INCLUDING overnight for £10 if not eating/drinking in the pub

They have been doing that for several years, but it was suspended during Covid. From memory we used one in 2014.

You can dump all your wastes and fill up with fresh water. You can also use the toilets and showers.

When I read the thread title 'Put stops' I thought it was about a price stop on a 'Put' option on the Stock exchange.

Last time I remember the price it was £5.30, but I could usually find a private site for cheaper, and without being a member.

Does one have to be a member to use it?

As said been doing it for years but at that price easy to find much cheaper alternatives.
They appear to think it's a good value as you can use the showers a & loo. Perhahaps someone needs to tell them motorhomes have showers and loos.
