Pet Passports issued in France.

It would appear that the French Authorities are now only issuing Pet Passports to Animals resident in the E U for at least 3 months! Goes well with the 90 day ruling.
Such good neighbours our French Friends .
Looks like the AHC will cost as much as the ferry crossing, that is if you can get a booking of course.

There are still some French vets who will issue passports,you just have to do the homework👍

That's all well and good but it's not those French vets who will be stuck at Customs with an invalid pet passport.

Hopefully nobody if they've held on to their AHC and have had it filled in👍

We've been crossing the channel by varous means for over twenty years, and our pet passports have never been checked when entering France or Spain: the Port Authorities do this beforehand. The French would have to 'instruct' the Port people to declare them invalid, and that wouldn't go down too well me thinks...
