Passport Checking Delays Leaving Portsmouth (1 Viewer)

Leaving for France, St Malo evening ferry, on the 18th May (Monday) and wondered if anyone has noticed any delays with the new outbound passport checks. Is it necessary to get their earlier than in the past.

Is it in force?, not in Dover as they haven't got their ar==s into gear. Please someone explain why it is a criminal offence to out of the country without correct document and they send illegals to Gaol for it, those that WANT TO LEAVE, but they do sod all to those that sneak in. Maybe a secret plan to keep the population up.

What I've always said !! Only place you need a passport to get out but a British citizen cannot be denied entry without a passport getting in !

mentioned it on another post, when you go by Le Shuttle, you are asked to do the API (advance passenger information) form on-line.

Presumably it speeds things up at the Shuttle check in
