Parking in Atherton

I would like to see my sister in Atherton, Manchester who I've not seen on 2 years. Problem is parking our moho.
I'm looking for a place to park for 2 or 3 hours nearby. We could park then get a taxi to her house as parking near her is almost impossible.
Has anyone any ideas ??

Not Manchester.
But can accommodate in Stoke.
30 mins train into piccadily £9 direct

Meet her at Trafford Centre and park in the coach areaor find a corner in one of the car parks ,if you look at a map of the centre I would use the one opposite the Primark in the area that backs on to Barton Dock Rd, of course this depends on what length off van you have if over 7 mtrs use the the coach area ,you could always phone them to make sure it would be OK.

i would use Tesco , free parking for 3 hours and no barriers, Victoria mill also has a large car park.
