P & O Ferries..... please don't go!

I would get a refund as they cannot offer a service, and have an unclear future, plus an increase in costs, how many more to come.
Book the Tunnel or go with another ferry company

I thought DFDS were honouring all their booked crossings?

I am booked on P and O Dover to Calais, Monday morning. Just had a text to say all crossings are cancelled until the 12th of April and when I arrive at Dover, go straight to DFDS

Indeed they are. Having just printed off our P and O Cruise tickets their website has a large info box at pains to inform people they are and Anglo American company under the Carnival/ P and O Plc brand and nothing to do with the P and O Ferry outfit.!

half their fleet is freight only so there is a good chance that something you buy was delivered by a lorry transported by P&O

I regret to say as far the cross channel services they are all exploitative of labour.
Only the Tunnel is paying good rates of pay, however almost entirely managed by the French operations side.
I also regret to say in my view much more exploitation on labour in many industries yet to come, over 100 years of labour rights faught for and won being swept away.

On the day of the sackings all their bookings were transferred to DFDS, you need to ask if you can do the same now.

I had a crossing (flexi) booked 1/6/22 hull-Rotterdam (been booked twice due to covid) and when all this started kicking off I protected myself and booked the tunnel on a flexi ticket for the same day in case the s##t hit the fan. Well things don’t seem to be getting better for p&o and the Rotterdam crossing and there’s no guarantees they will even be here after this, so I asked for a refund and am now using the tunnel. The refund hit my bank before I’d finished the call and the strange thing was they never tried talking me out of it, in fact they nearly encouraged me to cancel
