We have Alphatronics retractable TV connected to Oyster V Sat system . Found Astra 2 . TV searches Astra 2 and finds 97 channels, but I cannot seem to store the fruits of the scan . only visible option after search is complete is EXIT.
Then selecting source “satellite” on TV defaults to Hotbird & no channels found. If I knew how to save the Astra channels post scan & discovery - I feel we might make progress . Oyster support are good but they can’t help any on aalphatronics.
UK support for TV ?

I don't know anything about the specific TV, but have you set it to the correct country, primary region and secondary region and then 'saved' them ( if those functions are available of course)

I had s similar issue with Bush make of TV

Does the TV work ok through a standard TV aerial?

thanks, great to see familiar screens. i have been on that journey and the scan finds xx channels , but then there is no evidence of any way of saving those channels. the only UI offered is “Exit“ and when i exit and start up,again, the blasted thing defaults to Hotbird satellite, which i had tried to connect to whilst in S Spain. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Had that setup in our old van and had a few problems can’t remember what I did but I’m sure there is a factory reset in the menu worth a try and start a fresh

We might be more able to help you if you told us the model number of the TV, having told us the make. I believe that what i said in post #10 is that you should not try setting it up from the TV satellite system (although i do wonder if the TV has a built in decoder). Is there a connector at the back which has screw threads on for you connect the dish direct to the TV (BNCtype), if so try that method and put aside you decoder, or setup the satellite only from the decoder not the TV, my TV is set up with the AV input used from the decoder
