First of course you realise that I am not technically minded!!
I have been looking at and considering fitting a lithium battery/s.
This is is what I have gathered from three suppliers/installers who I have contacted over the last month .

company A = yes you can drop our batteries in and this is all you will need £1200

company B = just change the switch to “gel” and an extra thick wire from the van battery to the lithium batteries. £2000+

company C = May need a I think they said B2B other wise fairly straight forward. £1600+

I think I may stick to my old batteries.

A is totally wrong, B is also wrong, gel batteries require a different charging voltage to Lithium’s, C is correct dependant on which alternator you are running. My 2018 Dethleffs didn’t require the B2B but it deed need a different mains charger.. mine were fitted by RoadPro and I’ve never plugged into electric since, 15 months now.
Don’t forget you will get a funster discount from them as well.
I did do a review on here just search for road pro in the reviews section.

By my reckoning, this is the 3rd or 4th posting on the subject since just before Xmas?. Any chance we can get the information integrated?. I fully appreciate that this (relatively) new tech, needs thorough appraisal. So it would be helpful if it where in one place?.

And counting! 😉
