Off tonight to France! Where?

We are booked on the tunnel tonight and as only have 10 days we would like to know where half decent weather will be.
I have been following DBK thread as wanted to head ile de re area,but he has had quite a bit of rain. So now was thinking Somewhere along the Loire where we have had decent weather in October over the years.☀
Can anyone give me a weather report for anywhere within 6 hours drive of the tunnel as would like to hit the best weather we can if possible!?

Clearing a bit Tuesday but after that could be back to rain.
I think Loire and maybe down to Charente might be your best bet. There’s an area of Charente with a micr climate giving it equivalent sun days to Med areas.
Failing that, pack wet weather gear and find areas of interest with more indoors—- museums, science centres etc depending on your interests.

Thanks for your input. I think we will head to Angoulême or Cognac and then see how the weather is?
