Octane booster/Lead additive

Hi,

Just wondered is anyone uses this and has any recommendations to Brand etc.

Looking to buy some very soon as the motor really is not happy on low grade unleaded but runs fine when I can get hold of higher octane fuel.:thumb:

Just buy some Methanol from a R/C Model shop or chemist. We used to use it in our S/Car outfits when we were racing. Yoh could also add a little Nitro. VERY GOOD.

Erm WAS That Legal????We used stock fuel.
Next you'll be saying put a drop of Castrol "R" in it.:Cool:

:Cool: Most of the TOP racers used it. I didn't cotton onto it until I realised why they were faster down the straights and I smelled the exhaust. oh:

No! Castrol 'R' would foul the plugs.
