Before moving far from the dealer, or home. Spend a night or two in the van. Then you will find anything you do not understand or needs attention.

You have already had some good advice, above, as a “newbie”.

We have been motorhoming for over 30 years and still find the Forum invaluable for advice.
 
Like you new to owning. On our 6th trip thus far and loving it as you will i am sure.

Yes you can, my Burstner had a built in swimming pool, a bathroom door lock that was replaced ten times, raised lounge floor loose, electric hot water boiler UK spec not fitted, (normal gas one ) Replaced, lounge ceiling rippled replaced, lights in bedroom wrongly wired, all sorted efficiently by Camper UK, so not all German built vans are trouble free

Good advice - unless you live within very easy distance of the dealer. We're notwishing bad things on you but you woon't know where any problems are unless you've tried it out.
 
What I'm envious of large motor homes is the servants quarters at the back, usually under the owner's beds (how convenient). :welcome4: :imoutahere:
