Hi all. It was working two weeks ago fine, but has been noisy for years. MH sat on drive for two weeks with mains lead in and now pump doesn't work. Fuse and 12v electric panel lights are all ok, so it must be the pump itself. It's a Fiamma Aqua 8 water pump, probably the original from 2005. I took pics of it and the filter looks ok. Should I give it a gentle whack with a hammer or get a guy to replace the whole pump? The filter can be rinsed clean, I believe. He wants to put in a Shurflo which he says is a better pump. Any advice gratefully welcomed!!
