No solar charging, what a plonker!

Away on a C&CC DA rally (£10 a night) so looking at the battery this morning to see how it's charging, nothing at all. Scratches head and thinks I will get multi meter out to see what's going on.

In meantime chatting to someone and mentions problem, is that your solar panel in the shade of your satellite dish.

DOH what a plonker, now getting 6.5a so hopefully fully charged in a few hours

I don't think a lot of people realise that even a tiny shadow across a corner can massively drag down the output of the whole panel.
