Hi all
That time of year insurance is due thinking about a quote from NFU has anyone had any dealings with Totnes or Newton Abbot branches for motorhome insurance?

That sounds good not too far away take it that they are ok.
Thanks for the reply
I have been with them since buying my N & B Arto 88F Tag axle as the previous company was not interested. I added a Citroen C! Toad to the policy a few years back.

Contacted Daniel today, very helpful and produced a proposal.

Tracker and alarm both required (already fitted).

Unable to provide breakdown cover due to size and weight (8.6m and 5400kg).

Cost came in below Comfort but by the time 3rd party breakdown is added I expect they will be more expensive overall.

What value did you insure for?
We insured for £130k, no alarm or tracker required.

Comfort £1000 and not allowed to drive of dealers forecourwithout alarm & tracker.
NFU £714 and not requiring alarm and tracker that saved another £1000 plus.
Similar premiums from NFU then. Surprised that your Comfort quote was that much higher as mine was at £845 including breakdown/recovery.

As usual no logic in renewal premiums.

If they want you to have other insurance with them to get motorhome insurance, try the house insurance, not much difference between them and others but you get very cheap travel insurance thrown in.
