Hi all.
Just gone back to driving as opposed to towing for the last 16 years.
Just purchased a Kimberley Caravans dealer special Compass Kensington 185. The last MH we had was an Autotrail Cheyenne in 2005 and as with everything, the Ducato/Boxer has moved on in leaps and bounds since then.
In the intervening years we have had a few Caravans from Swift, Compass and Lunar and the last one was a 2018 Lunar Clubman. Pleased to say this wasn't a 'leaky' Lunar but I was worried when Lunar disappeared in 2019 and the warranty that went South with it.
Impressed with the build quality of the Elddis/Compass but time will tell. A few little niggles like the waste tank taking forever to drain and the use of cool White LED's everywhere for the lighting but will be getting round to changing these over the next couple of months. The tank drain problem has been identified on this forum and thanks to Two On Tour, will now repeat what he has done!
