I'm considering dropping into this, for a poke around for new ideas and accessories.
I expect we'd be bored silly after a day of that, so there's no way I want to pay an extra £70 to stay overnight... and whilst still working, holiday days are too precious to spend 3-4 days there. - even if it might mean meeting some Funsters in real life.

So my question is "how far is the day parking from the exhibition action?" - Mrs B has a daily walking limit of 5-6 miles, and I've seen some shows where it seems to be a mile or more to walk from the carpark, each way. This will impact the WAF to whether this will be considered a worthwhile event for us.
Or whether I should store the limited resource of enthusiasm for a show like, say, the NEC, with it's visitor bus service.
TIA for all advice!

don't know how it will be this year, but walking from the car park in the past has not necessitated miles. Have a look at the site plan for the show, might get a better idea.

Usually the car park used is only a few metres from the show entrance, depending how busy it is when you arrive.
Certainly wont need to walk miles, although walking around the exhibitors can clock up some metreage.

We went 3 years ago as day visitors and it was only a short walk, so short that we parked the van and walked around the show in 30 minutes. It may have changed since them though as it was a waste of time.

If you have a blue badge, then they usually have disabed parking immediately outside the gate. Other than that arrive very early so you are at the front of queue.
