new van registration

Hi has anyone had an issue with getting a new van registered we bought new a Etrusco fiat ducato based van with 2 year warranty 1 year breakdown cover where we purchased it is not a fiat dealer my understanding is they then have to get a dealership to do the registration they say they have but fiat have no recording of this my garage say its just a blip on the fiat side not reassured by this any thoughts appreciated at moment it means if I broke down fiat assistance would not assist as they would have no record of me!

Go to your nearest Fiat pro dealership with the V5 and the van get them to put it on the system there and then. If you want the extra 5 year warranty you only have 14 days from first day of ownership to do it.

If you break down, you need proper breakdown cover anyway.

Fiat "assistance" is a generous term at best. - First hand experience.
