Social clubs: get an exemption to camp without a licence

Recreational organisations like caravan clubs or the Scouts can apply for an exemption to camp without a licence or planning permission.

This exemption advice has been in place since 2014 but was revised in 2019.

The exemption rules have been about for many many years. These are the reasons why the CMC and CCC an have their networks of small Certificated Locations and Sites. This forum has an exemption certificate so that we can run our own rallies and meets.

AFAIK the rules have not changed during the Covid crisis.
