We visited Edwards Motorhomes in Kempsey a couple of miles south of Worcester yesterday, as I was interested to see on line that they had a couple of new Malibu pvcs for sale. I knew that they were AutoTrail and Rollerteam agents but it seems that they are in the process of becoming full blown Carthago agents as well. Their servicing and labour costs appear to be way below any other Carthago dealers we have used and geographically they are perfect for us so personally I am delighted!

Their website only shows the Malibu logo and not Carthago, however, if/when they start stocking the bigger C, E, S Plus, and Highliner models, you will see their rates increase.

I guess so unfortunately. All Carthago dealers seem to think that their owners are stinking rich and screw as much as they can out of them for everything. When I spoke to Edwards yesterday though they assured me they had no plans to increase their charges when Carthago came fully on stream in the next few months......

Given previous comments on another post where other Carthago dealers are reluctant to take on servicing of vehicles not bought from them, have they indicated this wont be a problem for you?
When are you due a habitation and or service? Would be interesting to hear your feedback if you go ahead with them.

I did ask and they said no problem, seemed happy to be promised the work. My next service isn't till June though. Warranty work might be another thing of course.

Can understand re the warranty work, but at least you seem to have made some progress on the other elements.
Now that you have clarified this perhaps somebody may use them before June and give some feedback.

Can they do the Fiat Cab/engine servicing? are they approved Fiat service engineers? if they are then that would be an added bonus, as you can get the hab & the engine done at the same place or time.

Chelstons in Somerset are our dealers and they can do both inc MOT,s, how good they are?, time will tell as we haven't had our first service done yet. Fingers crossed all we be well.

I think they are? They are part of a major Volvo/Kia/Mazda car dealership so have extensive workshop facilities for cars at least.

Fingers crossed they do Fiat also, it would be so much more convenient for anyone buying a Fiat based MH
